Is having spicy sweet chili doritos for breakfast b/c everything else is packed. May walk down to waffle house later.
Mentally, I want to start getting this place in order. Physically, I want to stay under the covers.
The cats have decided that their cat beds aren't good enough any more. They want their own queen sized mattresses.

I am officially unplugged. Well, my computer is now packed up, so it's only my phone now.
It feels so food to be horizontal. Sleeping on the air mattress again 2nite while my real bed is in pieces scattered about the floor.
The cats r exploring the jungle gym of our new home as it currently looks like a crammed discount furniture store.

It's getting wicked COLD already! Found my snow boots. I can pick up my truck tomorrow. Now back to battle what's left.

Elmo slept on bed/on floor most of night. Jocie started out on my pillow, but then uncharacteristicly opted for UNDER the covers @my feet.
It's awfully quiet here without the beasts. Hope they ate being quiet @ the new digs and not yowling like they were last night.

Someone remind me why I have som many coffee cups, mugs, Demi-tasses, etc
And let's not forget the wine, martini, pilsner, margarita glasses, brandy snifters& other barware type glasses.
wonders if it's a good idea to be packing glass items while imbibing a mixture of liquers and vodka.
is multi-tasking, box 1: glassware, box 2: drygoods, box 3: random kitchen accessories.
Wow! I have a lot of chili peepr decor that I forgot I had.
7 boxes & 2 china crates packed. Cats confused, but Elmo now purring contendedly. Jocie is, well, somewhere. Now cuddled in bed w/AI.
As usual, u have to wonder what the heck some of these contestants are thinking. OMG!

Anyone who sees my chat window open, I've been chatting via phone, but getting ready to drive now. Won't be responding for a while.
Instead of packing, I'm dealing w/ a flooded basement. Oh, joy! I have wet cold feet, a flooded kitchen, and a washer that was the culprit
Anyone want to come wading with me.
Oh, yeah. Because one of the leaks is over the furnice, we've shut it off at the fuse box.
And did o mention that I'm having to duck under wires and stomp over fallen drywall?
And watch out for tree limbs and Wade through leaves as we move things from one basement into another? A lot of this stuff isn't even ours.
