USBC Women's Open Championship

Bowling against my 01-01-2010 average of 163... Need all the help I can get.
So, I had the stress of trying to find to subs in less than an hour. Was made team captain at the same time since the original team captain didn't make it. Found out that my squad time for tomorrow was 4 hours after the other ladies I came with, had to get thy all straightened out.
How'd I bowl? I sucked. 115, 124 & 115. I needed to bowl 164 or better. Tomorrow: rinse, lather, repeat, but bowl *6* games instead of only 3.

Flights to El Paso
Didn't get delayed due to fog this year. Yay! Got to see the Statue of Liberty and NYC from the air. Girl on the first leg of my flight from GSO to LGA said, "Wow! I didn't realize we'd get to see New York!" Where'd you think you were landing? Buffalo?
At LGA had to hike from the terminal I landed at to the terminal I had to go to next which meant having to go through airport security. Didn't have time to get something to eat and am getting hungry since it's getting close to when I normally go to lunch.
Thank heavens I can get a sandwich on this flight! I'm above the clouds now. Literally.
That sandwich was SO good!!! Granted it was just a chicken sandwich...
The DFW airport is the only one that hasn't beenunbearanly hot... due to the fact that they have huge fans near the check points. Thank you DFW!
Have made it to El Paso and am en route to hotel.

Kerry needs to get her ball further out on the lane rather than trying to get it to hot the wood as soon as she drops it.
Wynn needs to learn to walk and throw instead of walking all the way up to the line, stopping, then taking a step back and using her whole body to fling the ball.
Me: Consistency and being able to adapt to lane conditionsore quickly and stop dropping my shoulder, flipping my wrist.

Top Chef Masters S2E2
Quickfire: Grilled cheese sandwich: I'd love to be judging that... My stomach wouldn't be happy with me, but my tastebuds would.
I would have loved to have tried all of those.... Gladcthat the chef with the least experience wo the quickfire. I think for a confidence boost alone she really needed it.
Elimination challenge: celebrity birthday party. Soul food
Collard greens cooked in coconut milk.... Yeah, dude, it's obvious you don't know much about soul food.
I think the chef who foegotchwr stew and went back to get it made mistake to go back for it. She should have figured out how to make what use had work . The other chefs who helped her should have just concentrated on their own dishes because if they mess up her dish, she'll be able to blame them. Like burning one of her dishes.
It's really hard to tell how the judges are going to vote in the end sometimes when they are giving thier critiques.

Good to see guest judges as contestants. When they return ad judges on Top Chef they aren't quite as smug when they have put through such crazy challenges with the short deadlines that the contestants face every week.
Hahahaha!!!! the cheftestants don't like that they are getting judged by a band.... The regular cheftestants have had bands, kids, you name it be guest judges . Have they forgotten that thier regular diners are also these people mad helped make or break them? come on! Get off your platform and show some humility!

American Idol live blog
So, it's Elvis week.... Was wondering what the theme was, but must not have been curious enough to check the blogosphere. Cool enough that Adam Lambert is on!!!
Crystal Bowersox: nicely done.. Agree with Randy about the energy. Ha-ha Ellen birthdays.
Andrew Garcia: is that a mini-parachute on his jacket? Good advice from Adam... It was boring and his actual performance is blah.... No energy. The first of the karaoke/lounge performances. Randy agrees, Ellen... Huh? Kara, yup. Simon didn't you mean it was predictable?
Did Ryan forget that Adam already told us that Tim is doing 'Can't Help Falling in Love'?
Tim Urban: haven't the judges already mentioned at least once that they really didn't like when the contestants perform behind them? Nicely done for the guy that originally didn't make the top 24. Tim may survive yet another week. Wonder if Vote for the Worst still considers him the worst as they did a few weeks ago?
Lee DeWyze: looking more confident, good voice, performance is better when he's feeling confident. Come on, Kara, let Simon talk.
Aaron Kelly: sung well, just doesn't sound current. The Tweens are going to cream... I mean scream. Kara thinks it sounds current? Better than Andrew. Keep smiling and looking confident while the cameras are still on you, kid. Even if you think they aren't on you.
Siobhan Magnus: Adam how could *you* not respect someone who likes to be different? You made me giggle. As for Sionhan's performance.... Not current, a bit over the top.... Audience is loving it. I'm a little mixed. I think she picked the wrong song.
Michael Lyche: Well sung. A little one note for me.
Katie Stevens: I'm starting to think Simon might be right about Katie doing country. Solid performance. Of course, it's funny that when she's channeling Reba (even if she didn't know that's what she was doing), Simon doesn't get it. It's been known for quite a few seasons now that he doesn't like country.
Casey James: bluesy... Just make it sound current... Oh, yeah..... You'd need to be familiar with the blues to understand that he made it sound current. It must just suck for him always get solid performance, would like to hear more.

I sucked in warm up which means theorhetically I'm going to bowl well.... Or I'm going to suck. This will not be a middle road night.
My ball isn't turning like it normally does & I haven't figured out what sort of adjustment I need to make yet. This is BAD when then other team is bowling well.
